Republic Day Celebrated - 2019

The day of Republic day was held on 2019.05.22 at Divisional Secretariat, Velanai at 9.00 A.M Under the Presence Of Mr. A. Sothinathan, Divisional Secretary (Divisional Secretariat, Velanai). 

In 1972, the Country Repudiated its Dominion Status and on May 22,1972, the Republic of Srilanka was Established.

During the Simple Ceremony Held this Morning the National Flag was Hoisted by Mr. A. Sothinathan, Divisional Secretary (Divisional Secretariat, Velanai). at the same time National Anthem was Played.
