Awareness Programme of National Environment Week Celebration

(From 30th May 2019 to 05th June 2019)

Above Programme Was held on 29th May 2019 at 11.00 A.M at Conference hall, Divisional Secretariat, Velanai Under the Presence of Divisional Secretary, Velanai. In this Programme Minimizing Air Pollution and Harmful effects were Discussed I.Surenthiran, (Asst. Director of Planning, Provincial Agriculture Ministry, Northern Province) was as a Resource Person and all the Field officers who are working at Divisional Secretariat have Participated above Programme.

Nainativu Elder's Medical Camp

Elders Medical Camp was held at Nainativu niyaap Hall on 30th May 2019 at 9.00 A.M - 2.00.   The Purpose of this Medical camp was to Create a Healthy & Efficient elder Generation in the Society  Due to the Reason. In 2019, Get the Support from the Velanai Health Medical Superintendent & Velanai Divisional hospital Dentist to arrange this medical camp. Divisional Secretariat,Velanai's Social Service Section conducted this Programme with the Sponser of Elders National Secretariat by Consisting of the Elders from J/35, J/36.

Sothynathan, ( Divisional Secretary, Divisional Secretariat,Velanai). 30 Number of Parents Participated at this Programme Mrs. P. Sivagnanavathi (Asst.Director, Land use division District Secretariat, Jaffna) And Mr. I. Ponnampalam (Human Resource Development Officer, District Secretariat, Jaffna) are Served as a Resource Persons for the above Programme. Career Guidance for the Children and Social Responsibility of the green environment are Disscussed on the above Programme.
