In the Above Event Pre School Students, Teachers and Parents of the Velanai Divisional Secretariat have Participated. There were also Art Events of Pre School Students and Awareness Programmes for Parents.

Aadipirappu Culture Festival - 2019

Aadipirappu Culture Festival 2019 was Held on 2019.07.17 at 10.30 A.M at Divisional Secretariat Velanai Conference Hall Under the Presence Of Mr. A. Sothinathan, Divisional Secretary (Divisional Secretariat, Velanai). The Chief Guest was Dr. Aru Thirumurugan (President, Tellipalai Thurgadevi Devasthanam). and Cultural Events also were held.

Mandaitivu Tourism Center

The Eco Tourism was Inaugurated with the Financial Assistance of Ministry of Tourism at J/07 MAndaitivu Grama Niladhari Division On 30th June 2019 by Divisional Secretary, Divisional Secretariat,Velanai. At the Moment it is Used only the Pedal Boating. Following this Step are being taken to use Boating Scooter and Big boats.

Medical Camp

Elders Medical camp was held on 21^st June 2019 at Nainativu Amuthasurabi Hall at 9.30 - 3.00' o clock. this event was Organized by Divisional Secretariat Velanai with the Support of Elders National Secretariat. Velanai Divisional Hospital Staffs, Jaffna Teaching Hospital Staffs, MOH staff,Village Level Staffs and Divisional Secretariat Velanai Social Service Staffs were Participated. Non infectious disease, eye testing, dentistry, blood testing were tested through this event.
